| Pastors
in Prayer is all about Pastors in Prayer. These meetings
have no hidden agendas, no soliciting, no preaching, but
purely praying for each other and corporate worship at
some meetings. Pastors from all denominations attend,
including a Messianic Rabbi. |
|
| A
few years ago, Pastor Billy sensed God clarifying that
Christ is coming back for His Body, not for body parts.
This realization fanned Pastor Billys passion to
see the Body of Christ come together in unity, which could
only become a reality when Shepherds understand and embrace
Jesus prayer in John 17 that they may be one.
After much prayer and networking, Pastors in Prayer was
formally launched in October 2003 with a Pastors Appreciation
Breakfast held at the Holiday Inns in Roswell. Pastors
came from across the denominational lines and embraced
the call for Shepherds to pray together. |
|
| Pastor
Billy has since fervently pursued bringing Pastors together
for prayer one hour per month. Each month has a different
prayer focus, from Law Enforcement to the Economy, to
which the relevant persons in the community have been
invited to attend. The honorable Mayor Jere Woods of Roswell,
Georgia has attended, along with other members of the
City Council, as well as the honorable Mayor Arthur Letchas
of Alpharetta, Georgia, including Rev. Jim Perdue, representing
Georgias Governor the honorable Sonny Perdue. |
|
| Pastors,
associates, intercessors, lay leaders and itinerate ministers
are encouraged to block off ONE HOUR PER MONTH to SEEK
GOD together in prayer for CITY TRANSFORMATION. |
